Army 1st Lt. Sean Daily, Deputy Command Historian for the North Carolina National Guard, helps Gail Dawes, a military liaison for John Deere and wife of Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Dawes, Battalion Sergeant Major for the NCNG’s 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team’s 30th Special Troop Battalion. Gail Dawes and her fellow John Deere employees rose to the occasion of giving this holiday season and by giving three television sets, kitchen utensils, clothes, gift cards, and money. Smithfield Middle School coworkers and students of Beverly Harper, a retired NCNG aviation technician, came together with John Deere and the NCNG to provide donations for the Harper family after they lost everything in a devastating house fire.
