Merritt, a high school football coach from Columbus High School in Miami, Fla., is the head football coach for the East team. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is unique because the players are among the most talented players in the nation and are high-academic performers and leaders in their communities. The 2014 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl will be held on Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. in Carson, Calif. The game will be played at the StubHub Center and aired live on Fox Sports 1.
