TSC American Corner brings cultures together

A Kyrgyz college student performs in an American Corner talent show at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Dec. 18, 2013. The key to the success of American Corner is the participation of Transit Center at Manas's volunteers. Their support allows for small group discussions and for the host nationals to feel more comfortable to ask questions and practice their English. The volunteers also learn about the Kyrgyz culture, customs and courtesies and develop a new appreciation for the American way of life. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman George Goslin)
