After the convoy arrived at Peason Ridge, 2nd Lt. Philip Macfarland, 1st Platoon “Blood Angels,” D Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat team, 1st Cavalry Division, gave his operational order to the troops.
