Theodore Knox, a former Navy corpsman and native of Oak Grove, Mo., speaks about Tim Padgett’s actions during a battle in the Vietnam War, prior to Padgett being awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V" device during a ceremony at the Marine Reserve Center in Columbus, Ohio Dec. 13, 2013. Knox was wounded during the battle and carried off the battlefield by Padgett. The action saved Knox’s life.
