Louisiana National Guard Soldiers from the 527th and 528th Engineer Battalions from Ruston an Monroe, La., download water from 53-foot trailers in the Wal-Mart parking lot in New Roads, La. The Wal-Mart Corp. provided bottled water, ice, baby formula, diapers and baby wipes to the residents of Point Coupee in the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav. The Soldiers from both battalions handed out approximately 60 tons of much-needed supplies to residents, many of whom are still without water and power.
