    Staff Sgt. Eric Walsh, Company E, 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment attached to Task Force Sentinel, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division teaches Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 31st Brigade, 8th Iraqi Army Division proper equipment maintenance during the Lionclaw Academy Phase I training at Forward Operating Base Kalsu, Iraq July 24, 2008. This was the first of four Lionclaw Academy classes, which teaches troop-leading procedures, route-clearance methods, equipment operation and maintenance, and identifying improvised explosives. This training is taught in both the classroom environment and through situational training lanes.
