Marine Attack Squadron 311 change of command

Lieutenant Col. Scott Mitchell gives his farewell speech at the parade field of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., during the Marine Attack Squadron 311 change of command ceremony on Friday. Mitchell was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1991, and winged as a naval aviator in 1995. Lieutenant Col. Toby Moore relieved Mitchell of his CO duties during the ceremony. “Moore is as fine a lieutenant colonel the Marine Corps has,” said Mitchell during his final speech.
