U.S. Army Spc. Chad Welch, with the 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion, leads a core-strengthening exercise with Djibouti Armed Forces (FAD) members a during physical readiness training session at Camp Cheikh Osman, Djibouti, Dec. 4, 2013. These U.S. Soldiers, assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, have been working with the FAD to help them develop a fitness program to strengthen their force and build camaraderie and esprit de corps among their ranks.
