Lance Cpl. Michael Bridenstine helps a group of first graders with their writing skills at Tinian Elementary School during a community relations event Dec. 4. The servicemembers are on Tinian as part of Exercise Forager Fury II. The purpose of FF II is to employ and assess combat power generation and operations in a deployed, austere and unimproved environment.
The service members volunteered time out of their daily routine to spend time with the children, interact and play games. Bridenstine is a chemical biological radiological nuclear defense specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
