U.S. Army Col. Mario Diaz (left), commander, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Task Force Patriot, and Capt. Kevin Boldt (right), commander, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th BCT., 10th Mtn. Div., ran along the mountainside at Forward Operating Base Torkham as the men took on the Torkham Challenge event Nov. 28, 2013. The event is three miles long and takes its participants up and along the top of the mountain at FOB Torkham and finishes at the bases flight line.
