Participants in the 2nd Tinian Hafa Adai 5 kilometer run take off sprinting Nov. 30, after the start buzzer rang. More than 120 runners participated in the event with Marines, sailors and locals running together. The Marines are with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The service members currently on Tinian participating in Exercise Forager Fury II, which is a joint exercise, designed to employ and assess combat power generation in a deployed and austere environment.
