UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from C Company, 2nd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Battalion conducts hoist training off of U.S. Army Vessel SP/4 James A. Loux (LSV-6) in the Arabian Gulf. The specialized training prepares MEDEVAC crews to extract patients from ships while at sea. The 2-238th includes soldiers from both the Indiana and Kentucky Army National Guard and is currently deployed to the Middle East with the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade (Texas Army National Guard) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
