Maj. Thomas Smith, the brigade logistics officer for 18th Fires Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, shakes hands with Dr. Charles Stanley, the senior pastor of First Baptist Church and founder of In Touch Ministries, at the All American Chapel, Nov. 6. Stanley, the guest speaker for the event, came to Fort Bragg to thank soldiers for their service to the nation and gave an inspirational speech to those who attended. Stanley broadcasts his Sunday service throughout the United States on the ministry’s In Touch television program.
