Shonnie Almeida, a satellite systems operator assigned to the 333rd Signal Company, 78th Signal Battalion, during the 10th RSG’s Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year board Oct.25th at the unit’s headquarters conference room on Torii Station Okinawa, Japan. Almeida, a McDonough, Ga. native, was selected as the 10th RSG Soldier of the Year and moves on to compete at the United States Army Japan and 8th Theater Sustainment Command Warrior Challenge competitions next spring.
