Staff Sgt. Travis Bryant, the maintenance chief for Black Sea Rotational Force 14, and Chief Rodrick Jones, the BSRF-14 Battalion Aid Station’s senior enlisted advisor, assist Cpl. Jacob Melvin, a field radio operator with BSRF-14, through the decontamination station after Melvin completed the OC level one qualification course at Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania, on Oct. 24, 2013. OC spray can have secondary effects if it is not properly flushed out of the eyes after initial exposure. Coordination across different sections within BSRF-14 was critical for this training to be completed successfully.
