    Major Gen. Lawrence Nicholson, commanding general, 1st Marine Division, and native of Toronto, delivers a speech on the history of the French Fourragere to the Marines of 5th Marine Regiment, during a French Fourragere ceremony aboard the Camp San Mateo parade deck here, Oct. 23, 2013. The regiment is one of two Marine Corps regiments authorized to wear the Fourragere for heroic actions during World War I. The new Marines with the regiment received the Fourragere during the ceremony.
