3d MEB commanding general and staff arrive to PHIBLEX 14

Brig. Gen. Paul J. Kennedy and 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade staff arrive at Clark Air Field, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines, Oct. 6 during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. Third MEB is the command element for this year’s PHIBLEX. The recurrence of PHIBLEX, now in its 30th year, demonstrates the commitment of the U.S. and Republic of the Philippines to mutual security and their long-time partnership. Kennedy is the 3d MEB commanding general and deputy commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force.
