A Marine with Bridge Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group provides security as they cross the New River with M1A1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks and M88 Hercules recovery vehicles from 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division during a tank crossing aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 17, 2013. The tanks were transported over the New River by seven improved ribbon bridges - five interior bays and two ramps - making a raft.
