Brigadier Gen. Frederick Rudesheim, the deputy commanding general (Support) for the 1st Cavalry Division, rides in the front seat of an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter piloted by Chief Warrant Officer 4 Frank Almeraz, the standardization instructor pilot for 1st "Attack" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cav. Div. Rudesheim visited the Attack troopers out in the field at a forward arming and refueling point during a gunnery, July 12, at Fort Hood, Texas.
