Retrograde, Bagram Air Field Aerial Port

Tech Sgt. Wesley Taylor, 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron loadmaster, looks over a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle before its loading onto a C-17A Globemaster III at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Oct. 2, 2013. Bagram has become a major hub for retrograde operations out of Afghanistan. The 455th Expeditionary Aerial Port Squadron special handling section pushed 4.2 million pounds of retrograde equipment during the month of September. Taylor, an Indianapolis, Ind. native, is deployed from Joint Base Charleston, S.C.
