Ground combat element Marines arrive in Philippines for PHIBLEX 14

The ship traveled from Okinawa to the Philippines to deliver the Marines and equipment to participate in the exercise. PHIBLEX 14 is a bilateral training exercise designed to improve interoperability, increase readiness, and enhance the ability for a bilateral force to respond to natural disasters or other regional contingencies.
