Command Sgt. Maj. Isaia Vimoto, senior enlisted leader for the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, meets with David and Mary Todd Sept. 30 at the Warrior and Family Support Center by the sign that once hung outside of Forward Operating Base Todd, Afghanistan. The FOB was named after David and Mary’s son, Sgt. 1st Class David Todd Jr., who was killed Aug. 20, 2008, in Afghanistan. Vimoto flew to San Antonio to present the sign to the family and to thank them for their son’s service.
