Mapitse and Kgaswanyane visited North Carolina as part of Botswana’s State Partnership Program with the state. The two BDF leaders participated in a benchmark exercise to review methods, of induction, appointment and deployment of chaplains, by using the National Guard as an example to restructure their chaplaincy in the Republic of Botswana.
