A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter takes off carrying Marines to an objective Sept. 12 at Camp Schwab as part of the Exercise Lejeune II joint aerial assault training. Soldiers and Marines joined together for this training exercise to gain proficiency in operating together so they will be ready in the event they need to work together in the Asia-Pacific region. The Marines are with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
