Photos and military gear of the late Marine Corps Sgt. Jimmie Begay was displayed during the Navajo Code Talkers Day ceremony on Aug. 14 at the Veterans Memorial Park, Window Rock, Ariz. Begay was a Navajo Code Talker that served with 1st Marine Division, 2nd Battalion, and participated in campaigns at Guadalcanal, Bougainville, Guam, Saipan, and Tinian.
