Sgt. David Girrbach, tank gunner, watches Pfc. David Plocharczyk, tank driver, both assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, hammer in a “toe” nail into a log August 19, 2013. Both Soldiers spent the day working with the Rocky Mountain Field Institute building log crib walls to help prevent sediment and debris from traveling down the intermittent stream during heavy rainfall.
