Transit Center updates tent with sheep's wool

The traditional yurt located on the Transit Center at Manas in Kyrgyzstan, received a new sheep wool covering Sept. 7, 2013. The wooden center of the Yurt features a crown-wheel which is replicated on the center of the Kyrgyzstan national flag. In many Yurts, 40 beams are used to form the roof skeleton representing the 40 Kyrgyz tribes and sun rays also displayed on the national flag. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Donna T. Jeffries)
