Paratroopers with the 82nd Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team climb ropes, Aug. 26, during the obstacle course phase of the Towle/Megellas Competition on Fort Bragg, N.C. The four-day contest, held to enhance section skills and esprit de corps, tested the skills of a team from each battalion and every lieutenant in 1st BCT to determine the best squad and the best junior officer in the Devil brigade.
