Detroit native, Spc. Kyle Rak, an aviation hydraulics mechanic for Company D, 1st "Attack" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry "Warrior" Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, pulls in to the parking lot at Palmer Theater at Fort Hood, Texas, on his blue 2007 Harley Davidson Street Bob motorcycle before the start of a motorcycle safety brief sponsored by the Warriors. After the safety briefings and classes, about 140 Soldiers mounted up and went on a safety ride with Cleveland native Col. Douglas Gabram, commander of the Warriors, and Dallas native, Command Sgt. Maj. Glen Vela, the senior non-commissioned officer for the Warriors.
