Facility Response Team members work to contain a simulated oil spill during a training scenario Aug. 14 on Slocum Creek. The Rapid Response Skimmer and the boom allow the FRT to contain and filter the oil to prevent contamination. The training prepares the FRT to take immediate action to minimize potential effects of hazardous materials spills to the environment.
