Soldiers in the Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania Army National Guard compete against one another for the crown of Region II’s Best Warrior. Day one of this four-day event consisted of an obstacle course, a mystery task, high-intensity interval training, a non-lethal weapon course, and a skeet shoot. The 2024 Region II Best Warrior Competition, hosted by the Maryland Army National Guard, features soldiers and non-commissioned officers from Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
