Despite facing events designed for soldiers with three plus years of experience, such as the Tactical Combat Casualty Care and the oral board, PFC Seth Adkins, with just a year and nine months in the Army, exhibited extraordinary grit. In a surprising twist, he emerged as the sole competitor out of 18 to conquer the daunting obstacle course during the Tri-Command Competition, marking his inaugural run through an Army obstacle course.

Adkins’s candid reflection on his shortcomings is overshadowed by his unwavering confidence in his team’s ability to dominate the upcoming regional Best Leader Competition. Drawing strength from the hunger to win, fueled by the lessons learned in the Tri-Command competition, Adkins and his IACH teammates are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations.

Witness the rise of a determined soldier and his team as they navigate obstacles, both on the course and within themselves, in their Quest for Victory 2024 at the regional Best Leader Competition in May.
