Here at the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, we are focused on optimizing our Soldier lethality. In any one of our unique labs, our scientist investigate extreme environments – from the desert hot to the artic cold, especially at high altitude – and through our research, we help improve nutrition to meet the demands and needs of the warfighting Soldier. We are maximizing performance through our medical research by mitigating Musculoskeletal injuries and creating next generation technologies. We have even created methods for our Soldiers to adapt to climate change.
