Private Nathaniel Efird, a soldier with the South Carolina National Guard, is assisting with search and rescue team efforts in affected areas near Bucksport, South Carolina, Sept. 25, 2018. Local citizens are cautioned to “turn around, don’t drown” if they come across cones, barriers or flooded roads when traveling in affected areas of S.C. The National Guard is partnered with many agencies and together are postured and ready for Search and Rescue operations as flooding is projected to continue in the Pee Dee region of the state.
