The Coast Guard medevaced the captain of a fishing vessel five miles off of Main Pass near Venice, Feb. 02, 2015. A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew was directed to launch and hoisted the captain who was reportedly suffering from head lacerations, and brought him to awaiting Emergency Medical Services at Air Station New Orleans.
