U.S. Marines with Civil Affairs team 1, III Marine Expeditionary Force conduct assessments with local leaders to determine how to best help the community when providing aid during future exercises or a natural disaster leading up to Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 15 beginning on September 29th, 2014. PHIBLEX is an annual, bilateral training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen our interoperability and working relationships across the range of military operations, from disaster relief to complex expeditionary operations.
