Cadet First Class (C1C) JayP Fullam is from Rising Fawn, GA, in the NW corner of the state. JayP is the Cadet Wing Honor Chair at the United States Air Force Academy. He describes his journey to this point in his life now. Both his paternal grandfather (shot down and killed in Vietnam) and his grandfather (USAF Prisoner of War in Vietnam) were fighter pilots. His dream of becoming an Air Force aviator began when he was very small. Fullam was recruited to play Southeastern Conference football at Vanderbilt University, where he took Navy ROTC. An injury forced him to reevaluate his path to an Air Force career. He transferred to the Academy, where as a Four Degree (freshman) he had an 'honor hit' - using an unauthorized device on a test. His fear of getting kicked out of the Academy was matched only by his terror of telling his grandfather he had an honor hit. He recovered from that to become the Wing Honor Chairman - a position that evaluates other cadets with honor violations. Available in high definition.
