The 173rd Maintenance hangar is a central hub for the care and service of aircraft at Kingsley Field. Crews housed in the hangar see to the mechanical condition of every aircraft both on the flight line and under the expansive roof. Today, that hangar is closed for needed upgrades, the first in two decades. So how do they carry on without it? Staff Sgt. Addie carter tells us it is a balancing act.
