Soldiers with the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade qualified on M4 assault rifles and M9 pistols on May 5, 2014 at Camp Ripley, Minnesota.
This video shows the point of view of Sgt. Kayla Sondrol, a behavioral health specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company 34th CAB. Soldiers performed their standard 40 rounds, 40 targets qualification and needed 23 out of 40 to pass. They also performed nuclear, biological, and chemical qualification, which is with a gas mask on, and needed 11 out of 20 to pass. Lastly, they performed a night qualification and needed 7 out of 30 to pass.
The 34th CAB will deploy approximately 220 soldiers to Kuwait this summer. The weapons qualification was a part of the soldiers’ deployment training. Also available in high definition.
