Paratroopers from the 4th Infantry Bridage Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, joined by serveral service members with the Marines, Air Force, and 20 Royal Thai Armed Forces, boarded five C-17 Goblemaster III aircraft to conduct a forced-entry airborne assault during Exercise Cobra Gold 2014 at the Khok Kathiam Royal Thai Air Force in Lopburi, Thailand. Cobra Gold is the largest multinational and multiservice exercise in Southeast Asia, which takes places annually throughout the Kingdom of Thailand. This is the 33rd iteration, demotrates the U.S. and Kingdom of Thailand’s commitment to our long-standing alliance, regional partnership, prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
