The boat was delivered March 31 and is the Coast Guard's newest asset to enter the fleet. Hull 45601 was launched on March 3, 2008 and underwent performance testing for two weeks. The RB-M is an all-aluminum, 45-foot boat with twin diesel engines and water jet propulsion.
