Army Col. Christopher P. Govekar, commander of the 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), accepts the United Safety Council's Military Safety Award on behalf of the 143d ESC's soldiers, civilians and families. Govekar and more than 200 soldiers from the 143d ESC are deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
