    ARCTIC OCEAN - A Kodiak-based Coast Guard air station HC-130 Hercules aircrew deploys a canister containing supplies to a Navy supported science ice research camp 100 miles north of Point Barrow March 16, 2011. The aircrew flew over the Applied Physics Laboratory Ice Station 2011 to check on the scientists as well as observe the ice conditions in the Arctic Ocean during an ice exercise.
