Company E. of Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, executed a mechanized raid into a notional insurgent training camp. The raiding force utilized the armor and firepower advantages of the Amphibious Assault Vehicle, unloading a company minus to neutralize the enemy presence. This exercise was part of a raid package designed to integrate 2/5 into the 31st MEU’s spectrum of operations prior to their deployment. Also available in high definition.
