In this video released by the Coast Guard, crewmembers from the Coast Guard Cutter Healy volunteer during Polar Science Weekend at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Feb. 27, 2009. Lt. j.g. Tasha Thomas gives an insight into the event and crewmembers set up a hands-on display for children with activities ranging from survival suit races to tying knots in ice water.
