  • U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division conduct cold weather survival tactics in various training sites in Norway from March 3-6, 2014 along with their Norwegian counterparts. The training prepared them for upcoming Exercise Cold Response 2014 and built skills valuable to future operations. This exercise brings together military members from 17 countries to emphasize the strong military bond between the partner countries and improves interoperability between the nations, enhancing access to a key strategic region within the EUCOM area-of-responsibility. The exercise will be conducted from March 10-21 in northern Norway and inside the Arctic Circle.
