Illinois National Guardsmen recently traveled to Lodz, Poland to partake and assist in BioSafe 2013, a biological threat preparedness program. The program aims to develop Soldiers' resilience capabilities in countering a wide-area biological incident that impacts U.S. and partner nation civilian and military personnel and key infrastructures.
