The 29th Royal HIMARS Battalion is the first Jordanian Unit to fire the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. US Army Field Artillery Soldiers have been in Jordan working with their counterparts for 2-3 months. The Honorable John McHugh, Secretary of the Army, attended a demonstration by the Jordanian and US Artillery forces, during exercise Eager Lion 13.
