The U.S. Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment held the opening ceremony for the third annual Marine Corps Trials for wounded, ill and injured Marines aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 28.
Four teams (Wounded Warrior Battalion East, Wounded Warrior Battalion West, International militaries and veterans) will compete in seven sports; archery, shooting, wheelchair basketball, volleyball, swimming, cycling, and track and field, for a chance to win gold at the 2013 Marine Corps Trials.
